TRASH
Curbside Collection
Trash is collected curbside every Friday. Trash receptacles may be placed at the curb
no sooner than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday or later than 6:00 a.m. on Friday
on the day of the scheduled collection. Only household generated trash and one bulk item
will be collected per week. Recyclable, construction and hazardous materials will not be
collected. There is a limit of five (5) cans or ten bags per collection, and we do not
accommodate cleanouts.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2011, TVs CANNOT BE COLLECTED IN TRASH.
You must either dispose of them on your own or bring them to the
Public Works Garage located at 300 Monroe Street.
RECYCLING
Curbside Collection
Recycling is collected every other Wednesday. All recyclable materials must be curbside
No later than 6:00 a.m. Recycling buckets and carts are available by calling the Township at
856-461-0284. For collection misses, call (856) 461-4141, or email
recycling@otcbc.org
Recyclables can also be taken to the Public Works Yard at 300 Monroe Street for disposal.
Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the Fourth Saturday of every month between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

BRANCH, LEAF AND GRASS CLIPPING SCHEDULES
BRANCHES
Branch collection is every Monday and Friday, April
through October.
The truck will move through the Township in the following order:
East End, Middle Section, Avenues and Reeder Tract/Swamp Poodle.
Please be advised that it take an average of two (2) to three (3)
weeks to canvas the entire town, particularly in the Spring.
All branches must be placed at the curbside by 7:00 a.m. for pick-up
and are limited to 8 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter.
The truck remain at one residence for no more than
thirty (30) minutes, so please plan your pick-up accordingly.
You do not need to call ahead to be put on the list.
SPRING LEAF COLLECTION
The Township will be introducing a new Spring leaf
collection for 2012.
This collection will begin April 2nd and will run through April 30th.
Throughout the month, we will canvas the Township in the order of the
East End, the Middle Section, the Avenues and Reeder Tract/Swamp Poodle.
FALL LEAF COLLECTION
The Township Fall leaf collection for 2012 will begin on
October 31st and
will run through December 28th. East End will be collected the 1st week
of the month, Middle Section will be collected the 2nd week of the month,
Avenues will be collected the 3rd week of the month, and Reeder Track/Swamp Poodle
will be collected the 4th week of the month.
Leaves should only be placed at the curb the weekend before the week of your pick-up.
GRASS CLIPPINGS
Curbside collection is available for grass clippings the
2nd and 4th Wednesday, April through September. Grass clippings cannot and will not be collected with solid waste.
Bags must not exceed 30 pounds per bag and should bags contain anything other than grass after June, they will not be collected.
PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE SCHEDULE
The Public Works Garage, located at 300 Monroe Street, will open the 4th Saturday
of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to collect any of the above.
We will not, however, collect any hazardous materials or construction debris.
